Panasonic : AX200 "Gaming Mode" Microsite

The client needed a microsite to speak with a specific target audience. We worked with the client to showcase their technology in the most effective way possible.

The Challenge

The client wanted to market their AX200 projector towards a very specific niche-the professional video game player market. Traditionally projectors have not been viewed in a positive light by this community due to issues with "lag time" - the delay between when an input is received to the projector, is processed and then displayed. The client wanted a microsite designed to showcase the new "Game Mode" functionality of its PT-AX200U projector, which eliminates "lag," and to make it appealing to the target demographic.

The Solution

We utilized a blend of Flash animation and modern design elements to showcase the "Game Mode" functionality of the projector. The Flash portion of the site dynamically plays external video content and simulates what "Game Mode" would look like on the projector. The HTML content provides supportive content and links which integrate with the client's main website.

The Results

The client was able to deploy an edgy, visually-engaging microsite that speaks to the needs of professional gamers looking to upgrade their game-viewing experience.
