Merfeld Collodion : Website Design

The client needed a simple yet elegant way to display his Collodion photography online. We worked with him to create a virtual frame to display his works of art.

The Challenge

The client was looking for a website solution for displaying his photography portfolio. The portfolio images had to be easy to manage and update, and the site design had to focus on the contents of the portfolio and not get in the way of the imagery.

The Solution

We used Flash Actionscript to produce a solution that is visually engaging and easy to navigate. The design was kept very minimalist and the elements all serve to frame the contents of the portfolio. The portfolio's contents are easily managed by the client and dynamic in nature-new content is immediately realized once uploaded to the client's server.

The Results

The client now has a portfolio site that showcases his Collodion photography without overpowering the content it's meant to feature.
