CarMD : Site Redesign Proposal
The client was looking to sell more of its CarMD tool as well as grow and maintain its user base. We helped provide them with a design proposal that could propel them to the next level.
The Challenge
The client's current website was designed as a direct sales tool for their flagship product, the CarMD tool. Although the client has had some success with the current iteration of their site they were looking to expand their sales through a site redesign. We took this as an opportunity to push this client to the next level, beyond just selling a product.
The Solution
We worked on several design proposals that focused on two applications for the website. First, the website had to serve as a direct sales tool for the CarMD device; it would use concise calls-to-action and supportive literature to convince the end-user of the CarMD's ultimate usefulness. Secondly, the site would serve as a "dashboard/community" for owners of the CarMD tool. This would allow CarMD tool owners to do such things as monitor their vehicles' maintenance schedules; gain access to community knowledge regarding their vehicles; and gain access to a database of recommended vendors and mechanics for their vehicles. This functionality would draw upon the client's massive existing database of CarMD tool data from existing users.
The Results
We were able to create and submit a strategy recommendation and supporting design comps for client review. This design could serve as a jumping-off point for the next evolution of the company's public offerings.
